My wife and I stopped in at my Grandparents home place just north of St. Joseph, Minnesota, and took some pictures of my moms home place. Grandma died in the 1960"s and my cousin just sold the land to some developers. I imagine they"ll burn the whole place down or just bury it. Nevertheless, you can view some history. The grainery was the original house, build of slab lumber, or logs. The house was built in 1886 with an addition built on to it in 1918. My mom was born in 1921. The machine shed used to house a Farmall F12, then a Farmall H. The foundation rotted, and can barely house that old wash machine sitting in front of it. My uncle Tony who farmed until the late 60"s never used the tractor, always horses. Drove his 38 Chevy to town, and he had the Sunday 1949 Chev sitting in the shed that he drove on Sunday to church.

Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
