I smoked in HS and for about 5 years after. I lucked out I guess because 1 day I realized I didn't really enjoy the cigarette and definately didn't enjoy the taste or the coughing in the morning. I said "Why am I wasting my money on these stupid things?" That was it. A friend of mine tried quitting several times with no success. His company paid 100% for accupuncture treatments to any employee that wanted to quit. They must have worked. That was 3 years ago. Hasn't touched a cigarette since.
