I took the opportunity of your post to read Matthew chapter 18. This post seems pretty heated. So let me gently point out that Jesus Did not tell the young man to sell his possesions and give them to him or the gov. to distribute to the poor. There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
