As far as the guy who got elected...it reminds me of the old question of what we call the guy who graduated last in his class at medical school: we still have to call him "Doctor."
And the fellow who secured the election is still called "Mr. President," once he's inaugurated. While he'd still be the President of the entire United States of America, I have the satisfaction of knowing that I didn't vote for him...not because he's half-white, but because I think he's the wrong cowboy for the job. He's "all hat and no cattle," in my view.
So Dave, don't act as if I did anything to help him get elected. While I must accept him as president, once he takes the oath of office, I certainly don't have to like it.
