Actually, it will die off now on it's own - election is over. It is kinda difficult to get rid of all of it and still remain an open & fun site to visit. I've seen it go both ways - open free for all with no rules; and a forum that got so strict that it stopped being any fun. People stop coming around either type of forum. Kim does pretty good getting rid of the junk - I bet the message that set you off isn't around any more.....
If the goofballs are just ignored, they go away mostly.
You can report off messages to Kim pretty easily - there is a click to do that when reading them.
As well, messages like yours are best made in the 'Site Comments' where Kim & co check out all the messages. Running this site takes alot of time, & I don't believe they really read through every forum on an hourly basis. They rely upon us to help them keep things nice by using the 'report to moderator' button & the 'Site Comments' forum to discuss issues like this.
You are right, but comments like yours always draw the same replies, free speech, blah blah, so no one bothers getting involved in these types of messages any more. It just eggs on the goofs, and creates the kind of mess you & I don't like to begin with. :)
Things will fire up again in February, when cabin fever sets in & people get edgy. You will find that on all internet forums - people get off topic & more confrontational about February every year. Then it dies down again once spring hits.

This would make the whole engine rebuild job much easier-and much less expensive! I soon found however, that the #4 conrod bearing had disintegrated, taking with it chunks of the crankshaft journal.
