glad it was a simple repair even if you went through the trouble to check the bearings.You did put new ones in right? I have one of those cars 86 olds and the 2.5 has serviced me well 26 mpg and rides good commuter car. 2 days after I got it the head bolt broke and blew a head gasket that's how I found out it was a low mileage car. I asked the machine shop how many miles he thought the head had on it and he said the same thing I was thinking valves still sitting high in the seat not many odometer showed around 60,000. I have around 85-90,000 on it now and still going.
