I am so honored to be a part of this board and to add to this post. Most of the guys on this site are tough as nails, their skin tough as leather, hands rough and calloused from years of hard honest work. We can work till we drop in the heat of summer or the keep on till the blizzrd wind rubs our face raw in the cold. A limb hits us in the face as we brush-hog as close as possible to the treeline, and we don't even stop the tractor. We drop a t-post on our foot and don't even flinch. We can lose a fingernail to the hammer strike and never miss a beat. But............if we lose a pet we all are reduced to a bunch of crying children. Such in the power of the unconditional love bestowed on us by our pets. They are more than a friend they are in some ways more than family...they are the very best of what we have in our hearts reflected back to us. They are the the gift of love that we don't deserve but are so fortunate to receive. They care not for our bloodline, nor our pedigree...just that we know the special spot to scratch or rub. They give volumes while asking so little. We here are all better men and women because we have loved them and they have loved us.
Now just try to convince me that there is no God................
