Day late here but my 2 cents (worth about 1 1942 tax token now). If it breaks loose the crud so you get better flow through the core(more heat) then it needs to be drained to get rid of the crud. Most Antifreeze starts to lose it lubricating properties after a couple seasons. A regular flush and new coolant is cheapest and best. Just like an oil change, it will extend the life of the engine and components. Again-- my 2 cents- Bob
