Sorry no deal, I just got off the phone with our WV DNR officer, nice guy. They can't issue a permit after oct. 15 I think there is one main reason for this.The gun season is the single biggest money maker this state has going for it alot of the it from out of state hunters. I don't see why people from out of state come here any way the license cost more and I would rather kill a soy bean fattened buck. No now that I think of it I would rather kill the one that has done me financail harm than some one else.
He was in favor of the permit because you are most likely to hit a deer with a car in West Virginia than any where else. The officer said that every night he gets called out to shoot hit deer, he sounds like he's getting tired of that to say the least.
