I don't miss those days of bawling cows and calves. It sure is funny how soon you learn the belloring of each cow or it's calf. We only buy feeder calves now and I don't touch newly weaned calves anymore. Those 30+ days weaned are sure a lot less trouble. At the local sale barn last Saturday there were still a lot of just weaned calves that brought fair money but were purchased by new fn the business. The more experienced buyers justy back off of them. Good luck on what ever way you go. Somebody needs to feed them or we'll soon be importing food the way we do oil and then watch the consumers scream.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
