I really can't tell any difference, I've made more this year than last. Cattle prices are down but so is fuel and feed so it averages out. Arkansas usually is not affected as much by the highs and lows of the economy as some parts of the country. Jonesboro announced last month that there are 2 new factories starting up that will employ 1000 people and average $17 an hour. Most folks I know don't live beyond their income and they can survive for a while but not indefinitely.
