I have a blue merle australian shepherd and immediately afer going to the groomer he will roll in the first mud puddle or any animal or bird including duck geese or turkey poo he can find.I never seen horses after being washed do this so it must be a preditor thing. I have seen moose wallow in their urine pits during the rut.
