I purchased a used OMC (Lorenze) 8" snowblower a while back at an auction. It is a 3 auger 2 stage. It is missing the outher PTO shaft. I thought I could just take the one off my manure spreader, but the square shaft is too small. Measuring the shaft on the blower, as far as I can measure I have it as a 1-3/16" shaft. Is this a standard size? If any one would happen to have the info for the exact shaft I need it would be great. There are no #"s on the blower to identify the model. I was wondering if a shaft off a forage chopper would be the right size. Any help would be appreciated cause I pretty much have to guess what I need. It is mounted on a 540 pto tractor so I am hoping that is what it is supposed to be. I just need to be able to get the last part to hook her up.
