Yeah, I've found out the hard way that the gas-engine parts are scarce. I've got three of the British diesels (B-275s and B-414) and for them, parts are easy to get. Go the Case/IH diesel and they come in a Mahindra box, right over the IH counter. Many parts available on this website.
When I bought this 3414, I had assumed at the time, that gas parts would be as common as the diesel - but I was wrong.
In regard to the exhaust pipe - it's different for the B-414. The 3414 uses two versions - both different from AG - one version with torque-converter, and one without (mine is without).
In regard to having a pipe made - yeah, if it was here - I'd make it. Problem is - I bought this backhoe to use at some property I own in northern Michigan - 800 miles from here. It's up there in my polebarn. I don't have a well equipped shop up there. So, I was hoping to get lucky and buy a complete pipe somewhere and bring it up on my next trip. That being said, if I could find a B-275 or B-414 gas engine pipe - I'd make use of it. I'm sure the flange - where the pipe bolts to the manifold is the same for all. So, even if the pipe was wrong - I could cut it and splice something in.
I was sort of hoping that a newer company was still selling off old-stock parts, or making a few new ones. That's what AGCO does now for Allis Chalmers industrial parts.
Funny thing is - I've had several chances to buy gas-engine B-275 tractors - non-running and cheap. I passed them up, and now I wish I hadn't.

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
