I'm 46 and the first tractor I ever drove was a JD 620 at about 6yrs My father bought it new when he was in 11th grade. I still have it. I was disking and dragging solo at 8, plowing at 12. Second was a MH44 and third was probably a 9n or a Farmall M.
My first memory of driving anything was at 4years old steering a 64 ford f250(engine off) while being pulled by my father with the 620. We did this some to get both tractor and truck between farms, about 3 miles. I remember he told me just steer it and the brakes are right down there
