Jeff: Johm d is right in that there MAY be lots of crud inside after 50 years of use....but there also may NOT be crud. The one I have doesn't look like it was used more that a couple years. Some of these parts may sit in storage for decades. The point I was making was don't judge just on age of 50 years . Test and inspect. I can still see clean bare metal inside mine. Good luck. hr
