Our little one horse town here recently became "progressive" and passed a non smoking ordinance. There was lots of debate around town about the dangers of second hand smoke (which I don't dispute) If you listened to the people supporting the ban you'd think that second hand smoke was nearly as dangerous as nuclear fallout. Funny thing is, in the early spring and the temperature gets a little nice to where everyone in town can get out and clean up, what's the first thing they do? why rake up a bunch of leaves and burn them. Whole place covered in a veil of smoke and nobody says a word. People are funny.
