while living in the west for almost 20 years I have drank many a cup of coffee with friends wearing a side arm all trucks have at least one rifle have seen a couple of times where folks working cattle sunday afternoon had hoster and side arm in church with horse in trailer in parking lot. Local sheriff in western Montana once commented to moterest who hit deer and just broke 2 legs asked driver why didn't they shoot the amimal. He expected all vehicles to have at least one gun with them.However last time I went through new jersey on 95 right besite tne big apple (in my opinion thr big apple has already been ran through the horse) sone iodit shot the windshield of the peterbuilt. slug stopped in the windshield right in front of my face. I enptied my side arm .I know I got the rear window as it shattered. Didn't see any blood buy the car shore took off in a hurry
