A few years back some fool old women in Newfoundland who had been listening to the women's TV brainwashing shows. She turned in an officers pistol from the Titanic.
Both these mistaken and other fools thought the guns were going to be either re-sold through legitimate channels. Or donated to museums.
Not so, there historical antiques were cut up and scrapped.
