If you think about it there are many things that can be considered dangerous weapons. As to how each item is classified boils down to is use. Since it is close to lunch time when I am typing this post, take for instance say kitchen knives. The only thing separating them from any other dangerous weapon is use. I can either use them to aid in food preparation, or use them to cause damage to people or property. Whether or not an item is a dangerous wepon depends upon what the intended user choses to do with it.
