Check the firing order and make sure that you have the spark plug wires right. It could be the carb high speed jet stopped up. Idle jet and high speed jet nomenclature is a misnomer. The engine runs off of the idle jet regardless of the speed if there is no load on it. when you load the engine, it runs off the high speed (or main) Jet.
