I agree with both Mike&Geo.I just did a resto on a IH184 that was next to a barn that burned.Since I got the tractor so cheap I was able to make it brand new for the price of a used one that would no doubt need things anyway.What was said about inside vs outside burns seems correct from my experience.Had my 184 been inside it would have not been worth the effort or $$$.....Mike

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
