Good Morning, Hope you all have a happy and safe Thanksgiving.All of our family is supposed to come sometime today to eat and visit. If you are traveling, be careful, watch out for the stupid people driving and not paying attention . Weatherman calling for near 50 for the high, so should be a nice day. I know our grandson will want to go for a tractor ride, today is his 3rd birthday. I have tomorrow off, so I will probably have to go to Menard's first thing to get a couple of things my wife wants for Christmas and then I hope to work on the JD 70. Have everything to finish putting motor back together, just need time to do it. I would like to hear the old girl run, it's been a couple years since I started in on it. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
