Landini in Italy purchased the old IH & CaseIH plant at Doncaster England several years ago. They also purchased the rights to the McCormick name. They produced a range of tractors based on the CaseIH models as McCormicks and for CNH as CaseIH. The Italians decided in late 2007 to close down the Donacaster plant and move production to Italy. The CaseIH models production line was transfered to the New Holland (Ford) plant at Basildon England. All McCormicks today are produced in Italy, some models are based on older Case IH models like the CX, MTX etc. The sub-100HP models in the C-Max range are pure Landini painted red with McCormick decals.
