Polly, When your tractor starts skidding like that, it's because you're dancing with the devil and the Grim Reaper is calling the moves. Please listen to all the good advise that's posted here. Tractor's just aren't made to pull stumps, especially small tractors. I'm in the process of writting an article regarding stump pulling with tractors but it involves applied physics, a lot of cable, some pulleys and tons of caution. None of the methods involve the use of a front loader. What you're doing is a fast way to damage your hydraulics, brake your tractor or get someone hurt. Please remain a regular on these forums by playing it real safe and not getting hurt.
