Assuming this is like a Ford & this is the postion/ draft lever: You really don't want it in 'draft' mode for normal use, as that can produce unexpected results.
Tractors don't come with wood holding things in place, so we have to assume soething is not quite right/ Not sure of the reson for needing it held in whatever position it is in, but you probably want to end up with the 3pt working normally in 'position' mode whenever you get it figured out. 'Draft' mode is only really useful for a mounted 3pt plow on the back, where it can sense how hard a heavy load is pulling on your tractor & adjust the arms up or down to keep a constant load on the machine. Saves on clutching & straining the engine. All other times _you_ want control of how high the 3pt is, and you want it in position mode.
But, Forson may be different, and thi is some other lever than what we are thinking?
