Previous posts all make good points. A couple of other things to consider.....What is the soil like? Is a larger tractor with belly mower or bush hog going to leave ruts when the grass has to be mowed and the ground is damp? How much stuff do you have to mow around in the way of flower beds and trees? On the subject of trees, low-hanging branches can cause you to buy lots of mufflers for that H, and can drag you off the seat in a most unpleasant manner. I solved my mowing problems a couple of years ago with the purchase of a 60" Swisher Trail Mower that I tow behind and to the left of a Wheelhorse with a 42" deck. This setup is light, easy to operate, maneuverable, and does fine looking job of mowing. In open territory this combination will cut 3 acres an hour!

I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
