The Harley Davidson plant is not too far away. Free mid day tours. We drove there but you have to be 12 yrs old or older so our kids couldn't go in. In Hershey, take the trolley tour thing from the chocolate factory (if its not off season). they give a tour with nice acting skits explaining the history. A little corny but worht it. The amusement park is pretty much a rip off. They're trying to put too much in too little space. I'm not too much into the amish thing. i don't need to stare at how others live, but there's plenty of that too. Be advised, most tours of any thing are pretty much done at 2:00 pm. We went in 89 for honey moon and the factory store was exactly that, offering bargains on chocolate items, and bulk lots. When we went back last year the store was just another cheap overpriced trinket store with candy prices higher than the grocery store. but, all in all, its nice to see once.
