You have to test in a vehicle that conforms to the license you are trying to get.
For a class A that means gross weight rating of 26,001 or more and with a trailer capable of hauling 10,000 lbs. There is no such thing as a air brake endorsement. If you test in a vehicle with out air brakes you get a air brake restriction. Both the truck and trailer must have air brakes to pass the air brake section.
I do not think you will find a 1 ton that meets this criteria.
