Sure don't notice the recession here by the Colorado River, what with all the lifted 4x4 diesel pickups just cruising around for something to do, pulling $100,000 speed boats, $15,000 jet skis, and a load of $12,000 Rhinos or $8,000 quads or $5,000 dirt bikes.
$4 fuel didn't stop many of the idiots from holding the pedal to the floor going up the mountain grades, or flooring it from a stop light, just to be sure they were the first ones to get to the next red light.
Don't notice any recession back home in ND, either with all the new homes being built, high dollar toys, and farmers buying millions of dollars worth of new equipment every couple of years.
The only people I know that have lost their homes are the ones who couldn't afford them in the first place, financed them for more than they were worth and took the extra cash to buy a new pickup or other toy.
Funny how the recession has been going on for a whole year, but nobody said anything about it until the election came up...
