It's kinda bittersweet to look back at the records. My sheet shows I sold corn in Oct 2007 for 3.43 and every time I sold after that the price was higher until last July when the last of it went for 7.00. Now it's 2.67 at the local elevator and I have to sell some before Jan 1 for tax purposes. Got a little sold for Jan 09 for 6.11 but it's only 25% of my crop. This is when the 20/20 starts kicking in. Oh how I wish I would have sold more.
The one thing I really count my blessings on is it's NOT contracted with the local Verasun plant. Whew! Jim
