Steering on my MF 35 was getting jerky, then all but wouldn't work! I didn't realize there was a separate pump with resevoir for the steering, as had been told early on that steering ran off main hydraulics. I pulled the steering control valve assembly off, as need to replace the seal and maybe a bushing, as shaft has a lot of side play movement! Can the section of the valve where the shaft to the steering wheel comes out, be removed for work without disturbing the rest of the valve body?? As of yet I have no manuals for working on this tractor. Bob
