Hi, I too have an old Sears Super-12 Garden Tractor, circa 1970-71, 6 speed hi-lo. My clutch return spring broke off and collapsed my clutch so that I couldn't move it unless I held the clutch up with my hand while driving it home from my field. Then for three weeks, no one could figure out where the return spring hooked up to the body, until my nephew took off the plate just below the dashboard on the right hand side as you sit in the tractor seat. There is a hole there where the spring hooks into a heavy cotter pin.
