Just some food for thought, heres an idea for your next truck project.
Last year, a couple buddies and I built a 1998 Dodge Ram 3500. It has a Detroit Diesel 6V71TA engine, Eaton RoadRanger 13 speed, Spicer two speed rear axle, two-ton suspension all the way around, air brakes and air horn. Its a nice truck, but a toy more than anything. Sees use hauling cattle and tractors most of the time. I now work for an outfit that specializes in diesel repowers in pretty much any vehicle that is brought to us, and also a lot of diesel repairs.
Maybe ya oughta build another tandem axle truck and start ya a fleet of "little big trucks"! Have fun and Keep On Truckin"!
