So let me get this straight. We can't use any fossil fuels or nuke power for any sort of energy. We also should not dam up rivers as that would alter the ecosystem. I guess we make wind farms and solar power systems the only thing we can do.
Sooooooo.......we get rid of computers and refrigerators and electric lights and air conditioners and fetal monitors in hospitals..... etc, etc, etc,.... I guess we should also get rid of huge cities with all their lights and elevators and people.....
Yeah, I like clean air as much as anyone else. But it is very unreasonable to believe that we can turn the clock back on the technologies we've committed to without extraordinary upheaval and pain for hundreds of millions of people. The people behind these things should lead by example and totally forgo all their electricity using technologies. If and when they do this and still believe that this is a good idea, I will be willing to listen to them. Until then they are nothing but Luddites to me.
