I do alot of ebay and firearms are not allowed any more and haven't been for some time.
I've sold a little on craigslist and had good luck there too! Craigslist has some good buys.
Wether an item actually brings what is says it does on ebay or not you can't go by that. I know people who have their friends bid items up for them so it doesn't go cheap. It may show that it sold when actually no money changed hands. So don't go by what you see on ebay. If you want it bid on it to the highest amount you would give. You may not be the highest bidder but someone may cancel their bid making you the hi bidder. So don't bid just to be playing around you could get stuck with something you really don't intend to buy.
