If you just drive by and look at any palce that has box blades, you will see that the blade sticks down a little below the sides of the box. If they dont it wont cut anything. Also the blade is at a slight angle forward, will not get a bite if it is just verticle. Finally you need 2 blades for any box blade, one cutting to front and one cutting to back. without 2 it will not be nearly as useful. Best to take some good photos of some of them at TSC or some other implement dealer. I dont understand just how you had the blade bent, but just bending a curve around to form the box side will most likely not work. Better do some homework, before you get too far along. Tom
