I RECENTLY HAD A BRAND NEW ONAN PERFORMER 18 eNGINE INSTALLED IN MY GOOD OLE RED CUB CADET 982. tHE GUY WHO INSTALLED IT DID A GOOD JOB, AND i TEST DROVE IT BEFORE i LOADED IT TO TAKE IT HOME. tHE STARTER SWITCH WAS A BIT STICKY AND CORRODED, SO HE SUGGESTED THAT i LET HIM PUT IN A NEW SWITCH. i LEFT IT WITH HIM ANOTHER WEEK, AND WHEN i RETURNED TO GET IT, hE SAID THAT HE COULD NO LONGER GET IT TO START BECAUSE HE HAD LET SOMEONE ELSE DISMANTLE THE OLD WIRING AND COULD NOT GET THE NEW SWITCH INSTALLED CORRECTLY. tHERE SEEMS TO BE A LOT OF PLUGS BEHIND THE DASH THAT DON'T GO ANYWHERE. tHERE ALSO ARE A TOTAL OF 6 WIRES THAT LOOK AS IF THEY SHOULD PLUG INTO THE 5-LEAD BACK ON THE SWITCH..? oNE OF THESE IS A HOT WIRE FROM THE STARTER THAT WAS USED WHEN THE ENGINE WAS OPERATIONAL... tHE NEW ENGINE WILL SPIN OVER NICELY, BUT THERE IS DEFINATELY NO FIRE TO THE PLUGS AND NO TELLING WHAT ELSE IS WRONG. dOES ANYONE HAVE A SIMPLE WIRING DIAGRAM SHOWING WHAT GOES WHERE BEHIND THAT DASH? oR IS THERE A SIMPLE BYPASS METHOD THAT WILL GET ME MOWING AGAIN? tHANKS FOR ANY HELP, SORRY ABOUT THE CAP LOCK, i,M IN THE TALL GRASS IN SOUTH CAROLINA...
