Years ago I caught a couple of old guys trespassing on my farm hunting pheasants. They were waving their 12 gauges around in a very unsafe manner and when one of them swung his gun around I saw snow packed in the barrel. I pointed this out to him and he didn't seem one bit concerned-didn't even know he could blow the barrel apart. When I told him he should get the snow out he started banging on the gun to jar the snow out. That's when I got out of there.Jim

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
