ALL of the employees of the companies are to blame for the mess. ALL GM employees should (must) take a 20% pay cut to make it look like they all care about cutting costs. I would love to see Warren Buffett buy up all the GM stock and then say to all at Gm "it is my way or the highway" and of course fire the top executives. Gm has some great cars and trucks, I know cause I bought 2 new Chevy cars last year. It is a shame that the company is run like a circus.
Yes GM and Ford should get several billion in loans to keep them afloat and have the top managers get a $1--year salary.
