School's cancelled here in Michigan today. All I can figure is that it's because the temp dropped from 40 last evening to 14 this morning. This is getting rediculous. I think they've used up their snow days already. There's gonna have to learn that global warming only exists in politics and learn to drive busses in an inch of snow. Or,start going all summer and take winters off. My dad was transportation supervisor for the local school for a lot of years and it used to be quite a deliberate discussion between him and the superintendant before they would cancel. There had to be a full blown blizzard.
But off the soapbox. When I was out there in a 40 mph wind this morning feeding,my eyes all teared up from the cold,it just had me glad I wasn't in the Dakotas. I hear it's 10 times worse there. Thank God for small favors.
