Tough call. They probably sent a notice stating the fee. Unless you have a bill of sale, it's probably their tank. Hope the tanks empty. Truth is most suppliers are the same, Ferrelgas is just the biggest. Kind of last in the day for your father to try saving a few bucks by buying a tank so maybe an annual topping up will avoid another surprise.
