Carter inherited plenty of problems, then he had the media talking about him like he was a fool, the military hated him for the hostage crisis and cutting their funds.Big money did not like Carter, plus he was too goody goody for them to impeach. He made a few mistakes like cutting the military.Yet he had a few ideas, sort of like a blind hog finding an acorn, that were good.Renewable energy got started during his administration. He had a big stack of papers brought in to Congress and said it was the tax code, nobody could understand it and it was a disgrace, and that was true.He just didnt get running the USA.He was kind of overwhelmed, and maybe surprised that he won the Presidency.Plus a rabbit or something came at him while he was in a boat and he hit it with an oar(not sure if thats true)! He must have done something rabbits didnt like.He was kind of sad at the last because everything he did failed so he kind of quit doing anything.Hardly even remembered he was President, then Reagan was President and the hostages came home that day.Carter wouldnt pay them,Reagan did.Seems like Carter has done more since not being President than when he was. Most of that was wrong too.
