Long story, cut a big oak limb, it swung, missed the ground and knocked the ladder out from under me, fell 12 ft. I don't know whether I did it throwing the chainsaw or hitting the ground. After sleeping (some) in a chair for two weeks, I went to the doctor. Broke 2 rotator cuff mussels. Was scheduled for surgery but after pre-ops they decided that I had lung cancer, After going through several test they concluded that I got a bad ex-ray. Rescheduled surgery, they called the day before and cancelled, the surgeon had a heart attack. Finally got in to a healthy surgeon after about 3 months. Got a scar on my belly where they strapped a fence stretcher to pull the mussels back in place, they had shrunk, been so long since they broke. They drilled holes in the bone and sewed one back, the other is attached with screws. Good surgeon, I was 68 when it happened was on my right shoulder, I just finished sheet rocking the ceiling in a 15,000 sq ft house. I'm 74 now. Bad story with a good ending, I guess.
