The hardest part of that job is getting the hoses off and back on, since they are located so low behind the engine on the passenger's side. The inside part of the job is not too bad. When you remove the glove box, you can find the screws that hold the cover on the case. Instead of draining the cooling system completely, I usually use long nose locking pliers and clamp off the hoses to minimize loss of coolant. Once you get the heater core replaced and wash out the cover, it will dry up pretty good. The film will dry out and the smell will dissipate over a few hours' time. Then just clean the windshield with some good glass cleaner, and you're set. I wish I had my old '85 Eurosport back. HTH Good Luck and God Bless.
