Depending on the person, 74 isn't that old. Are you going to use the tractors? If you just wanted to resell them, I'd tell her that you'd try to get them running, clean them up and sell them on a commission for her. Maybe $1000 or $1500 depending how much work they need. Then you wouldn't have to worry about your conscience and she'd be really grateful. The fact that you're ready to bang your head off the wall, answers your questions. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
