Merry Christmas to all from the frozen tundra of western Illinois. Will be leaving in a few hours to drive 80 miles to our daughters house for family Christmas. I wish everyone on here a Merry Christmas and a Safe, Happy and Prosperous New Year. Looking forward to seeing our grandson open his presents. It's my birthday also, I'm 57 now. Today's Featured Article - Show Coverage: Journey to Ankeny - by Cindy Ladage. We left Illinois on the first day of July and headed north and west for Ankeny, Iowa. Minus two kids, we traveled light with only the youngest in tow.
