At this point I am leaning towards a large garden tractor. Only because I have the equipment to repair it, the room to store it indoors and I can transport it with my truck. I can sell my current garden tractor to increase the budget and have one machine for everything. Next step is to determine which JDs used a shaft driven snow thrower. I do not want a belt driven. Thanks again everyone. All the replies really helped.
Thanks,
Mark
