I was buying the truck you"re asking about for around $22,300 this summer. Found a new leftover "07 for $20,900 also (Ebay of all places). These were work trucks like you wanted, but with the snow plow package also. Don"t know what the deals are now. Ever seen Pontiac"s hot car the G8 GT? I thought the local dealer was screwed when he had 9 of them earlier. He now has 23, counted them the other day. Drove one this summer, I hit 105 mph as I came onto the interstate from off the ramp. Felt like I was going 60, WOW.
