We have two old IH's a 300U and a 350U both gasoline engines.
Problem with the 350U Two years back an unnoticed tree stump knocked a hole in the oil pan, and now the rod/crank bearings are shot. Can you folks point me in the proper direction to find oversize crank/rod bearings and a gasket set for this motor?
Problem with the 300U This old beast always has some problem... lately the hydrolic fluid has been coming up low, now she leaks a drip or two but not enough to displace this much fluid (loses maybe a gallon a week). The engine has also been blowing a LOT of oil out the overflow vent, but when we check the oil lever is always ok (usually showing a bit too full, but not milky as in water).... I am thinking some seal or gasket has gone and is allowing the hydrolic fluid to leak into the engine case... is this possible?
